The Centre Balear de Biodiversitat (CBB) and the Catalan Initiative for the Earth BioGenome Project (CBP) are organizing a two-day interactive workshop focused on solving challenges in high molecular weight (HMW) DNA extraction and the Hi-C technique.
This workshop is designed to provide hands-on support for real-world challenges in these key methodologies for generating reference genomes. It is aimed at both experienced researchers and beginners interested in the field, offering a collaborative space to identify and discuss common difficulties, share experiences and protocols, and exchange problem-solving strategies.
The event will focus on problem-solving discussions, knowledge exchange, and the development of practical recommendations to improve Hi-C and HMW DNA extraction techniques.
To ensure an effective working environment, the number of participants will be limited, and early registration is recommended. Once the application is submitted, participants will be asked to provide information about their previous experience, encountered challenges, and case study examples.
