Interest

Holotype of a new nudibranch species. It has an evolutionary interest since it will be the first nudibranch genome sequenced. It has an ethnobotanical interest given its ability to produce toxic secondary metabolites.

Distribution and origin of the sample

Western Mediterranean and Eastern Atlantic. The sample is from Cubelles, type locality.
