Species of the subphylum Cephalochordata. Evolutionary lineage having diverged at the base of the chordates. This version of the genome (V3) corresponds to a chromosomal assembly. The V2 was already published in 2018.

Distribution and origin of the sample

Mediterranean and North Atlantic, the sample was collected at the Racou beach, Argeles sur Mer, France.
